Here's little Duke, a sweet young kitten who was rescued from a large feral colony of cats on the Prospect Road. These pictures don't do Duke justice, because he was upset and weary from his neuter surgery. Duke was in excellent health when we found him, thanks to the kind resident who'd been feeding this colony for many years. But thankfully we were able to spay and neuter all the cats in that location and rescue all of the kittens.
Duke and his sister Daisy are now snuggled together in a warm, safe foster home. They're eating like it's their job ! and they've developed a bond with their human family. Duke gets along well with other cats and is just now learning how to play. He likely only chased leaves blowing in the wind before! He's also been neutered, tested negative for feline disease and treated for parasites.
All Duke needs now is a kind family who would like to adopt him into their home. We prefer he be adopted as a companion cat to another pet in the home, or failing that, along with his littermate, Daisy. Please consider this sweet and deserving boy cat.
We are a local cat rescue society. We ask a minimum donation of $100 toward each cat adoption to help us with ongoing rescues. We provide your pet?s veterinary record and a charitable tax receipt for the full amount of your donation.
